About Dr. Rossini

Dr. Rossini is a pediatric neuropsychologist whose roots began in the field of school psychology.  She earned her Ph.D. from Loyola University Chicago in school psychology and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) with an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a school psychology endorsement.  After working for 20 years in the public and parochial school settings, including Chicago, Lombard and Glen Ellyn schools, Dr. Rossini re-specialized in the field of pediatric neuropsychology.  Dr. Rossini obtained several years of neuropsychology practicum and post-doctoral neuropsychology training at Dawson Neurobehavioral Group with Dr. Nichole Dawson.  

Dr. Rossini has extensive experience and expertise in comprehensive evaluations and evidence based intervention planning for neurodivergent children and adolescents.  She has the unique experience of understanding the education system and special education services from the inside out given her previous work as a school psychologist.  She has played a prominent role in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Section 504 Plans, including helping parents understand how to navigate education and special education systems and assisting school teams in identifying research-based instructional programs and strategies to improve learning outcomes.

Dr. Rossini has specialized training and expertise in special education law, positive behavior intervention, teacher consultation, academic intervention, Response to Intervention (RTI), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Section 504 and Individual Education Plans (IEP).  She is an expert in learning differences, dyslexia, autism spectrum, and ADHD.  She also has expertise in children and adolescents who present with social, emotional and behavioral challenges and how these challenges interface with learning and school functioning.  Her extensive expertise in working within a variety of school settings allows her to bring a unique perspective and skill set to private practice with the goal of student advocacy.  Dr. Rossini is passionate about helping parents appreciate their child’s individual learning and emotional traits, and promoting the best home and school experience for families.

Dr. Rossini grew up in Hinsdale Illinois. She is married and has three children and currently resides in nearby Clarendon Hills. She understands the challenges of parenting for which no amount of education can fully prepare you!
